TESTIMONIALS - few of many

Breathtaking views of Canadian Rockies:

A great day trip with an expert guide

My husband and I are world travelers. This was by far one of the best-guided tours we've had. Petar communicated with us by email in a very prompt manner, answering all the questions we had. On the day of our tour, he picked us up in the lobby of our hotel, Hilton Garden Inn Calgary Downtown. We were a small group, so it became almost like a private tour. Peter patiently and enthusiastically showed us the major highlights including Minnewanka Lake, Lake Louise, Moraine Lake (his and my favorite lake), Bow Falls, the glacier rock formation of HooDoo's, Banff town, etc., etc. We also saw animals in the wilderness including mountain sheep, elk, golden squirrel, and amazing grizzly bears. I had expressed my wish to see bears and he went out of his way to find those. Peter is very knowledgeable about the area and has a great personality to spend the whole day with him.
I recommend the hammerhead Tours to everyone and will definitely use it again in the future. Thanks, Petar!

The fantastic taste of the Rockies...

This is a really great tour and overview of the area.
Petar is a great host and the whole day operates with him thinking of our comfort and enjoyment - regular bathroom breaks and plenty of advice and insight into getting the most of our day.
There was plenty of flexibility too - we couldn't reach one of the lakes on our initial attempt because of snow/ice, however, Petar re-worked the schedule so we had time to give it another go on our return when the roads had been cleared - just an example of him wanting to deliver what his passengers wanted from their day.
The locations themselves are stunning - our tour was on one of the coldest days of winter yet it was still very interesting and enjoyable - made me want to return to experience the Rockies in summer with all the contrasting colors of lakes and mountains.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hammerhead Scenic Tours to anyone wanting a Rockies experience particularly if tight on time.

Reviews are accurate - great tour

I had an amazing time on this tour. Peter, our guide was so authentic and genuine. He made us laugh the entire trip. It was a small group of us, only 4. Which was really nice and intimate. We all knew each other by name by the end. Petar was insightful and kind. The tour was informative especially when leaving and coming out of Calgary. I would definitely recommend this tour for people that want to get a good idea about what they want to see in Banff. It gives you a little snapshot of everything. Banff town was so cute. It was nice to have time for lunch. The only advice I have is to do this tour and then make more trips to places you want to see. I luckily had a couple of hours at moraine lake earlier in the week. If the tour had been my only exposure, I would’ve been sad to not have more time at Moraine Lake and Lake Louise. However, that being said, it was a jam-packed day and we got back at 5:30. So I understand why there is a limit for these stops. Some people do enjoy just quick stops. As a solo traveler, I felt safe, I felt included and I learned a lot. I definitely can see why this tour got such great reviews.

DISCLAIMER ABOUT PHOTOS **The day happened to be very smokey because of the forest fires, but it was still beautiful and we made the most of it**
